How I work

Fees

My fees are £50 per session, payable in full at the end of each session either by card or bank transfer. I have a limited number of concession places available at £37.50 per session, please contact me to discuss your circumstances.

Finding and therapist can feel nerve-wracking and exposing. I offer a free 15 minute telephone call to discuss what has led you to seek counselling, and for you to consider if you would feel comfortable working with me.

Timing

I offer sessions face-to-face, with flexibility for ocassional online sessions. This is because I believe that counselling works best in person. Sessions are 50 minutes and will usually be offered on the same day at the same time each week.

Location

I am currently based at Mysa Therapy Rooms at 6a Newmills Road, Dalkeith, EH22 1DU. There is free on-street parking available in the streets surrounding the centre. Unfortunately, these rooms are not accessible to those with mobility impairments due to stairs.

Cancellations

Counselling sessions cancelled with more than 48 hours’ notice will not be charged. Sessions that are missed without notice or are cancelled with less than 48 hours’ notice will be charged in full.
